Responsibilities:
- Recruit new members and promote membership opportunities
- Welcome and orient new members
- Make connections within the organization
- Maintain membership records and contact information
- Encourage member participation in meetings, programs, and events
- Develop strategies to increase membership retention and satisfaction
- Communicate with members regarding updates, renewals, and activities
- Assist with member recognition and appreciation initiatives
Marketing & Event Planning Committee Responsibilities
The Marketing & Event Planning Committee promotes the organization and coordinates successful events and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize meetings, fundraisers, social events, and program workshops
- Develop event timelines, themes, and promotional materials
- Advertise events through social media, flyers, email, and community channels
- Coordinate event logistics including venues, vendors, decorations, and registration
- Work within approved budgets and monitor event expenses
- Assist with sponsorships, partnerships, and fundraising opportunities
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for future improvements
- Create Post-Event social media buzz
- Contact attendees thanking them for participating and sharing photos
Community Outreach Committee Responsibilities
The Community Outreach Committee builds relationships between the organization and the community through service, partnerships, and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support community service projects and outreach initiatives
- Promote the organization’s mission and presence within the community
- Coordinate volunteer, networking and workshop opportunities for members and mentees
- Identify opportunities for collaborating with others with aligned missions (organizations, schools, and businesses)
- Represent the organization at community events and public functions
- Encourage public awareness and positive community involvement
