WINGS at JFK Mentoring & Leadership Certificate Program Nomination

Mission: To empower and mentor emerging female talent by connecting them with today’s leaders and allies, creating a network that breaks barriers, opens doors, and develops the next generation of aviation leaders.

WINGS Mentorship Nomination

Eligibility Requirements

The nominee must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Female employee of a current tenant, leaseholder, permittee, or authorized service provider (including Federal Government agencies) operating under a valid Agreement of Lease, Privilege Permit, or other written agreement with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (“PANYNJ”) authorizing business operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
  • Employed with the nominating company for a minimum of two (2) years.
  • Demonstrates leadership potential and a strong desire to advance into management and leadership roles.
  • Maintains exemplary job performance and professional conduct.
  • Has the full support of her employer to participate in all program activities.
  • Agrees to commit to the full eighteen (18) month program.
  • Will attend required workshops, mentoring sessions, networking events, and leadership development activities.
  • Will participate in WINGS at JFK-sponsored community service initiatives.

Employer Commitment & Acknowledgment

The WINGS at JFK Mentoring Program represents an investment of approximately $2,500 per participant and includes leadership development workshops, mentoring opportunities, networking events, guest speakers, community service activities, and professional development resources. 

WINGS at JFK will subsidize the full cost of participation for selected candidates. 

By submitting this application, the nominating company agrees to: 

  1. Support the employee’s participation throughout the eighteen-month (18-month) program. 
  2. Provide reasonable flexibility for attendance at required program activities. 
  3. Encourage active engagement in workshops, networking events, mentoring sessions, and community service projects.
